Phone Signal - Present The scan tool displays Present or Not Present. This indicates if the radio detects the vehicle is equipped with OnStar.
Power Mode - Varies The scan tool displays Run, Crank, RAP, Off Awake, Unlock, RAP Unlock and Off Awake. This is the current state of the ignition cylinder.
Signal Strength - Varies The signal strength of the currently tuned station is measured in dBuV.
Source Status - Varies The scan tool displays Unknown, Radio Off, Tuner, CD, RDS Interrupt, CDX, Aux. Device, Phone or DRR Tuner. This is the current source/type of the signal being received/played.
Theft Armed - Learned VIN The scan tool displays Learned or Not Learned. This shows whether the VIN is learned in the theft module.

Scan Tool Output Control Description
Optional Modules Configures for Disc player and video display, Digital Radio Receiver, Steering wheel controls, Vehicle Communication Interface Module. This will synchronize the optional modules to the radio.
Region Code Options The scan tool will provide selection for Region Code Options for North America, Middle East and South America. This is the current region code of the radio.
VIN Relearn The scan tool will do a VIN Relearn. Enters the correct VIN information in the radio
