Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement .
  2. Remove the I/P compartment assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  3. Remove the knee bolster assembly. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  4. Remove the front floor console retainer. Refer to Front Floor Console Retainer Replacement .
  5. Remove the cupholder door. Refer to Instrument Panel Cup Holder Replacement .
1 Instrument Panel Extension Trim Panel Screws (Qty: 6)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  2 N.m (18 lb in)
2 Instrument Panel Extension Trim Panel Assembly.
