Installation Procedure

2009 Chevrolet Uplander LT, 3.9 MSECTION Installation Procedure
  1. Install EBCM onto the BPMV if replacing the BPMV only. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: View Of BPMV And Mounting Bracket Bolts

  2. Install BPMV and EBCM as an assembly onto the mounting bracket studs.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the bolt that connects the BPMV assembly to the mounting bracket and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in)  .

  4. Install the BPMV bracket to the strut tower.
  5. Install the 3 nuts (2) that attach the BPMV mounting bracket to the strut tower and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in)  .

    Reposition any lines or hoses that were moved out of place.
