Installation Procedure
2009 Chevrolet Uplander LT, 3.9 MSECTION Installation Procedure
- Install a new liftgate handle gasket (1) prior to installing the liftgate handle.
- Install the liftgate latch cable to the liftgate handle.
- Align the liftgate handle studs with holes in liftgate.
- Install the liftgate handle retaining bolts (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in)Β .
- Install the liftgate handle retaining nuts (1, 2) to the studs and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in)Β .
- Install license plate lamp sockets by turning sockets clockwise.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to Liftgate Water Deflector Replacement .
- Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
- Close the liftgate.
