Installation Procedure
2009 Chevrolet Uplander LT, 3.9 MSECTION Installation Procedure
- Install new grommets into the washer container for the wiper washer pumps.
- Install the following removed components:
- Cap
- Front washer pump
- Rear washer pump, if equipped
- Pull the engine harness forward and lower the container into the engine compartment.
- Position the underhood electrical harness over the top of the washer container spout.
- Position the washer container (2) to the right front inner fender.
- Install the bolts and tighten in sequence, as shown, to 6 N.m (53 lb in)Β .
- Connect the washer jumper hoses.
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Install the right front diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement (Pontiac) .
- Reposition the underhood electrical center. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement .
- Refill the washer container with new washer solvent.
- Verify the operation of the wipers/washer systems.
