Removal Procedure
2009 Chevrolet Uplander LT, 3.9 MSECTION Removal Procedure
- Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
- Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
- Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement .
- Remove the theft deterrent module from the lock cylinder housing. Refer to Theft Deterrent Module Replacement .
- Remove the screws (2) from the ignition switch (1).
- Remove the ignition switch (1) from the ignition lock cylinder case.
- Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.
