Auxiliary Mode Valve Actuator Replacement (Delphi)

Callout Component Name
CAUTION:

In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module.

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mode actuator.
1 Mode Actuator Screw - Auxiliary (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2.5 N.m (16 lb in)
2 Mode Actuator - Auxiliary
Procedure 
Re-calibrate the mode actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
NOTE:

Apply Dielectric Nyogel 760G grease to the electrical connector. Dispense grease on the connector to cover all holes in the connector.
