Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Wheelbase) , Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard Wheelbase) .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1 Inside Door Handle Cable Retainer Clip
2 Rear Side Door Lock Screw (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Release the outside door handle rod from the door lock clip.
  2. The mandatory sequence is 3, 1, 2.

TightenΒ 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
3 Rear Side Door Lock
  1. Disconnect the electrical plug.
  2. Transfer all parts to the new lock.
