Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Position the rear side door window approximately half way down in the door.
  3. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Wheelbase) .
  4. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1 Rear Side Door Window Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tip:Β 
  1. Tape the window to the door frame to prevent it from moving.
  2. Loosen the 2 bolts that attach the window to the window regulator.

Tighten:Β  9 N.m (80 lb in)

2 Rear Side Door Window Regulator Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten:Β  9 N.m (80 lb in)
