Rear Object Sensor Housing Replacement

2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Base, 4.8 CSECTION Rear Object Sensor Housing Replacement
  1. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Avalanche, Cadillac EXT) or Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (All Utility, Cadillac ESV) .
  2. Fig 1: View Of Rear Object Sensor

  3. Disconnect the sensor harness.
  4. Remove the sensor from the sensor housing.

    The sensor housing must be painted if replaced. If reinstalled, painting will not be necessary.
