1 Intermediate Steering Shaft Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tip:Β  Secure the steering wheel to keep it from moving once the intermediate steering shaft is disconnected from the steering column.

Tighten:Β  34 N.m (25 lb ft)

2 Intermediate Steering Shaft
Procedure:Β 
Mark the alignment of the intermediate steering shaft to the steering column before disconnecting it.
3 Steering Angle Sensor

Procedure

  1. Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
  2. Use the alignment bracket on the steering column when reinstalling the steering angle sensor.
