Removal Procedure

- Using a scan tool, capture the ECM data.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Remove the ECM water deflector.

Release the ECM upper retaining tabs. - Disconnect the ECM electrical connectors.
- Remove the ECM from the bracket.
