Removal Procedure
2008 Chevrolet Uplander LT, 3.9 1SECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the front lower rocker panel to wheelhouse molding screw.
- Open the doors in order to access the upper molding retainers.
- Use the J 38778Β in order to remove the push-in retainers at the bottom edge of the rocker molding. See Special ToolsΒ .
- Using the J 38778Β , remove the retainers at the top edge of the rocker panel molding. See Special ToolsΒ .
- Remove the rocker panel molding from the vehicle.
- Clean the body panel using a 50/50 mixture by volume of isopropyl alcohol and water.
- Dry the surface thoroughly before applying the new molding.
