Removal Procedure

- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Use paint in order to place a match mark on the inner tie rod at the inner tie rod nut.
- Loosen the rack and pinion inner tie rod nut.
- Remove the rack and pinion outer tie rod end nut.
Discard the nut.
- Use the J-24319-B:Β puller in order to separate the rack and pinion outer tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
