2008 Chevrolet HHR LT, 2.4 P, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Inspect the CKP sensor O-ring and lubricate with a mineral based grease.
  2. Gently insert the CKP sensor into the block.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Install the CKP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
  7. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement .
  8. Perform the CKP system variation learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation LearnΒ .
