Install a NEW gasket onto the exhaust manifold studs.
Install the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the exhaust manifold to the catalytic converter nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the catalytic converter nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

Install a NEW gasket onto the resonator pipe studs.
Install the catalytic converter to resonator pipe nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the resonator pipe nuts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
Install the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S). Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 Replacement .
Inspect the exhaust system for leaks.
