  1. Install a NEW gasket onto the exhaust manifold studs.
  2. Install the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Install the exhaust manifold to the catalytic converter nuts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the catalytic converter nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  6. Install a NEW gasket onto the resonator pipe studs.
  7. Install the catalytic converter to resonator pipe nuts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the resonator pipe nuts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  8. Install the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S). Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 Replacement .
  9. Inspect the exhaust system for leaks.
