Connect Procedure
Clean any existing oxidation from the contact face of the battery terminal and battery cable using a wire brush before installing the battery cable to the battery terminal.
- Install the negative battery cable to the battery.
- Tighten the negative battery cable nut (1).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
- Install the rear floor trim plate. Refer to Rear Floor Trim Plate Replacement .
- Reset the radio stations and the clock.
