Removal Procedure

- Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the rear door speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement .
- Remove the rear inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle ReplacementΒ .
- Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Remove the rear door window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
- Disconnect the lock cable retainer (1) and remove the lock cables (2) from the retainer.
- Disconnect the outside door handle rod by releasing the retaining clip on the outside door handle.
- Remove the bolt (1) retaining the door lock assembly to the inner panel, if equipped with AU3.
- Remove the screws retaining the door lock assembly to the door.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear door lock assembly, if equipped with AU3.
- Remove the door lock assembly from the door.
