  1. Remove the endgate cover. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Latch Cover Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the clips (1) retaining the endgate latch rods (2) to the endgate handle.
  3. Remove the endgate latch rods (2) from the retaining clips (1).

  5. Remove the bolts retaining the endgate handle to the endgate.
  6. Remove the endgate handle from the endgate.
  7. Remove the lock cylinder from the endgate handle if equipped. Refer to Endgate Lock Cylinder ReplacementΒ .
