A new inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil will come precentered with a centering tab attached. Do NOT remove the centering tab until installation is complete. Failure to follow procedure will cause a misalignment and re-centering of the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil will be required.
If reusing the existing inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil, you must center the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil CenteringΒ .
