- Install the power steering pump.
- Install the power steering pump mounting bolts and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Connect the power steering pressure hoses to the power steering pump. Tighten the power steering pressure hose to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
- Connect the oil pressure sensor harness clip to the pump body.
- Install the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (LLV, LLR)Β .
- Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement for the 2.9L engine or Drive Belt Replacement for the 3.7L engine.
- Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 2.9L engine or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.7L engine.
- Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System BleedingΒ .
- Inspect the power steering system for leaks.
