Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition ON, turn the wipers on low speed; the wipers should activate. If the wipers do not activate, refer to Windshield Wiper System MalfunctionΒ .
- Turn wipers to the OFF position. Operate the windshield washer using the WASH switch. Verify the washer pump activates.
- If the washer pump does not activate, refer to Circuit/System TestingΒ .
- Observe the scan tool Windshield Washer Switch parameter while cycling the WASH switch ON and OFF. The parameter should cycle between Active and Inactive.
- If the parameter does not cycle between the specified values, replace the BCM.
