Removal Procedure
2008 Chevrolet HHR LT, 2.4 P, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle just high enough to remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the front suspension strut. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link ReplacementΒ .
- Remove the front suspension strut mounting nut (1) on the front suspension strut stud (2).
- Raise the vehicle high enough to access the lower front suspension strut bolts.
- Support the lower control arm with a adjustable jack stand.
- Remove the front suspension strut nut (2) from the front suspension strut bolts (5).
- Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connectors (3) and (4).
- Remove the wheel speed sensor bracket (1), and relocate to the side.
- Remove the front suspension strut bolts (2) from the front suspension strut (1).
- Remove the front suspension strut (2) from the vehicle (1).
