2008 Chevrolet HHR LT, 2.4 P, AutomaticSECTION Connect Procedure

NOTE: Clean any existing oxidation from the contact face of the battery terminal and battery cable using a wire brush before installing the battery cable to the battery terminal.

  1. Install the negative battery cable to the battery.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Tighten the negative battery cable nut (1).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the rear floor trim plate. Refer to Rear Floor Trim Plate Replacement .
  6. Reset the radio stations and the clock.
