Removal Procedure
2008 Chevrolet HHR LT, 2.4 P, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
- Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge tube from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Disconnect the wiring harness clips from the fuel rail and reposition the harness out of the way.
- Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the MAP sensor.
- Inspect the seal for damage.
IMPORTANT:
If the MAP sensor seal is damaged, the MAP sensor must be replaced.
