  1. Remove the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly ReplacementΒ .
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge tube from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting ServiceΒ .
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness clips from the fuel rail and reposition the harness out of the way.

  5. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector.
  6. Remove the MAP sensor.
  7. IMPORTANT: If the MAP sensor seal is damaged, the MAP sensor must be replaced.
  8. Inspect the seal for damage.
