- Remove the automatic transmission, if equipped. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
- Remove the starter, if equipped with a manual transmission. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement .
- Remove the clutch, if equipped. Refer to Clutch Pressure and Driven Plate Replacement .
- Install the J 43653Β (1) to the engine block in order to hold the flywheel.
