- Ensure that the spark plug washer is positioned correctly.
- Inspect the spark plug gap. Adjust the gap as needed. Refer to Engine Mechanical Specifications .
- Install the appropriate right side spark plug (1) into the cylinder head by hand.
- Tighten the spark plug.
Tighten:Β Tighten the plug to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- Install the appropriate left side spark plug (1) into the cylinder head by hand.
- Tighten the spark plug.
Tighten:Β Tighten the plug to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
