2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Secure the new air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor to the wire that was secured to the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor side.

  3. Pull the wire exiting the newly drilled hole, routing the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor (1) back into the air conditioning and heater module assembly (2).

  5. Install the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor harness grommet (1) back into the top of the air conditioning and heater module assembly (2).

  7. Connect the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor connector (1).

  9. Use a pair of long needle nose pliers to grip the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor at the plastic base (1), and insert air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor into the center of the evaporator core (2).
  10. Perform the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor calibration check using the scan tool.
  11. Install 1 1/4 (32 mm) inch plug (P/N 94535734) into the newly drilled hole.
  12. Apply silicon sealer (GM#88861417) around the perimeter of the plug.
  13. Install the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Cadillac) , Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Except Cadillac)
  14. Install the instrument panel inflatable restraint module. Refer to Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
  15. Install the instrument panel compartment door assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement (Except Cadillac) , Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement (Cadillac) .
