  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Turn the headlamp switch to the ON position.
  3. Place the multifunction headlamp dimmer switch to the high beams position.
Do the high beam indicator function properly?
Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections Go to Step 3Β 
3 Do the high beam headlamps function properly? Go to Step 4Β  Go to Symptoms - Lighting SystemsΒ 
4 Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs .

5 Replace the IPC. Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming.
