- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Disconnect the electronic suspension control (ESC) sensor, if equipped. Refer to Rear Position Sensor Replacement - Electronic Suspension - Left or Rear Position Sensor Replacement - Electronic Suspension - Right .
- Remove the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from the frame bracket.
- Remove the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from the axle bracket.
- Remove the upper control arm.
