- Install the power steering fluid cooler (1) to the vehicle.
- Install the power steering fluid cooler bolts (2).
TightenΒ
Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Connect the power steering fluid cooler hose (4) to the power steering pump (1).
- Connect the power steering fluid cooler hose (3) to the steering gear (2).
- Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
- Install the radiator grille reinforcement support, if equipped. Refer to Radiator Grille Reinforcement Support Replacement .
- Install the fascia grille. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement (Z71) , Fascia Grille Replacement (Escalade) , Fascia Grille Replacement (GMC Denali XL) , Fascia Grille Replacement (Suburban, Tahoe) , Fascia Grille Replacement (GMC Yukon Hybrid 2 Mode) , Fascia Grille Replacement (Yukon) .
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System BleedingΒ .
