- Ignition ON, verify that DTCs U1826, U1827, or C0292 are not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Perform the steering angle sensor calibration procedure. Refer to Steering Angle Sensor Centering .
- With a scan tool, clear the DTC.
- Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. Verify the DTC does not reset.
- If the DTC resets, replace the steering angle sensor.
