Preliminary Procedures

  1. Loosen the fuel cap in order to relieve the fuel system pressure.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Disconnect the fuel lines. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting ServiceΒ .
1 Fuel Pump Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten:Β  22 N.m (16 lb ft)

2 Fuel Pump
Procedure:Β 
Disconnect the electrical connector.
