  1. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (4.3L) or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L) or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (6.6L) .
  2. If equipped, remove the auxiliary generator. Refer to Auxiliary Generator Replacement .

  4. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe fitting from the fuel injector pump.
  5. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe fitting from the left fuel rail.
  6. Remove the left fuel feed pipe.
