  1. Install the left fuel feed pipe.
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Connect the fuel feed pipe fitting to the left fuel rail and tighten to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
  4. Connect the fuel feed pipe fittings to the fuel injector pump and tighten to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
  5. If equipped, install the auxiliary generator. Refer to Auxiliary Generator Replacement .
  6. Install the A/C compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (4.3L) or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L) or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (6.6L) .
  7. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System PrimingΒ .
  8. Start the engine.

    If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.

  9. Inspect the fuel system for leaks.
