Installation Procedure
Lubricate the camshaft position sensor seal (1) with clean engine oil. Refer to the appropriate Service Information.
Install the camshaft position sensor (1) to the engine front cover.
Connect the electrical connector (4) to the camshaft position sensor.
- Position the camshaft position sensor wire bracket (3).
- Connect the electrical connector (2) to the camshaft position actuator magnet.
- Install the engine front cover bolts (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Connect the electrical connector (1).
