- Install the cable.
- Snap the retainer tabs into the frame bracket.
- Connect the front cable (2) to the intermediate cable (3).
- Route the cable in through the floor pan and engage the grommet (1).
- Remove the safety stands.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the cable anchor to the stud on the floor.
- Install the anchor nut and tighten to 13 N.m (115 lb in).
- Roll the carpet into place.
- Install the park brake pedal. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly ReplacementΒ .
- Adjust the park brake system. Refer to Parking Brake AdjustmentΒ .
