- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Support the rear axle with a safety stand.
- Remove the spring shackle (5) to the leaf spring (1) mounting nut and bolt (2).
- Remove the spring shackle (5) to the frame bracket (4) mounting nut and bolt (3).
- Remove the spring shackle.
