2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) .
  2. Remove the clamp at the radiator outlet using the J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  3. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp at the engine using the J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  4. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp at the coolant recovery reservoir using the J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  5. Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the radiator. Refer to Radiator Hose Quick Connect Fitting 
  6. Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the engine.

  8. Remove the radiator outlet hose (4)from the engine compartment.
