- Ignition ON, Clear the DTC. Observe the scan tool RCDLR Shift Lock Solenoid Command parameter. The parameter should change from UNLOCK to LOCK when the brake pedal is depressed and released.
- If the parameter did not change, refer to Stop Lamps Malfunction .
- Observe the scan tool RCDLR Shift Lock Solenoid State parameter. The parameter should change from UNLOCK to LOCK OFF when the brake pedal is depressed and released.
- If the parameter does not change, replace the RCDLR.
