2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the battery positive cable to the engine.
  2. Install the positive battery cable to the retaining features on the engine wiring harness bracket.
  3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Connect the battery positive cable (2) to the starter and install the starter terminal nut and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
  7. Connect the cable retaining clip to the stud.
  8. Install battery positive cable (2) and nut (1) to the underhood fuse block and tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  10. Install the underhood fuse block cover to the underhood fuse block.
  11. Install the wiring harness to the retaining features on the underhood fuse block cover.

  13. Install the underhood fuse block cover to the underhood fuse block.
  14. Install the wiring harness to the retaining features on the underhood fuse block cover.

  16. Connect the battery positive cable to the battery (3).
  17. Rotate the lever (2) on the battery clamp to engage the clamp
  18. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LHD With Top Post)Β .
