Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Twist the air tube seal connection on the rear shocks.
- Disconnect the air tube from the rear shock absorber.
- Disconnect the exhaust system from the rear exhaust hangers. Support the exhaust.
- Remove the automatic level control compressor with the bracket attached. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
- Disconnect the air tube from the right wheel house liner clip.
- Remove the wheelhouse liner screw in order to position the liner to access the air tube.
- Remove the air tube from the frame at the right wheel house liner.
- Remove the fuel filler neck bolt and reposition the air tubes.
- Remove the air tubes from the vehicle.
