2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fan to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the fan to the crank adapter shaft.
  3. Install the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement (LH2)Β  or Fan Shroud Replacement (LY7)Β .
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Tighten the fan nut to the crank adapter shaft using J 41240Β  . See Special ToolsΒ .

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

  6. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
