Vehicle Stability Control Module (VSCM) Replacement and SetupΒ 

The following service procedures require either a programming or a setup event performed for a complete repair.

If the vehicle stability control module (VSCM) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed in the following order:

  • VSCM Reprogramming--Refer to Service Programming System (SPS)Β .
  • Revise the steering position sensor centering setup procedure using the Scan Tool module setup function.
  • Revise the acceleration sensor reset procedure using the Scan Tool module setup function
  • Revise the VSCM power steering reset procedure using the Scan Tool module setup function.
