2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install and position the negative battery cable.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the negative battery cable to engine block stud.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the stud to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  5. Install the bolt (1) securing the negative battery cable to the side rail.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 36 N.m (27 lb ft).

  6. Connect the body harness connector (3) to the negative battery cable.

  8. Connect the I/P harness electrical connector (1) to the battery current sensor.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
