  1. Verify that DTC P0560 is set as current.
  2. Measure the voltage at the battery terminals and compare it with the scan tool ECM Ignition 1 signal parameter. Verify that battery and Ignition 1 signal readings do not differ more than 2.0 volts.
    • If greater than the specified value, test the Ignition 1 and ground circuits of the ECM for an open/high resistance.
      • Ignition 1 signal 3.6L X2 terminal 5 and X2 terminal 54
      • Ignition 1 signal 4.4L / 4.6L X1 terminal 19 and X2 terminals 13 and 28
      • Ground circuits 3.6L X2 terminals 1, 2 and 4
      • Ground circuits 4.4L / 4.6L X2 terminal 73 and X3 terminal 73
  3. If the circuits test nor mal, replace the ECM.
