Installation Procedure

2008 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger ExtendedSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the window into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Stationary WindowsΒ .
  2. Install the windshield side reveal moldings, if equipped. Refer to Windshield Side Reveal Molding ReplacementΒ .
  3. Install the outside moisture sensor if equipped.
  4. Install the Vehicle Direction Alert Alarm Warning (VDAAW ) Module. If equipped. Refer to Vehicle Direction Alert Alarm Warning Module Calibration .
  5. Install the rearview mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement (UE1) or Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DD7, DD8) .
  6. Install the interior windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  7. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
  8. Install the windshield wipers arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  9. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  10. Close the hood.
