  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the inoperative passenger window switch.
  2. Ignition ON, verify the scan tool passenger window switch parameter is IDLE.
    • If not the specified value, test the appropriate power window switch express signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuits tests normal, replace the appropriate door control module.
  3. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the inoperative passenger window switch.
