Preliminary Procedure:Β Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement (Non-SS) or Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement (SS) .
1 Steering Wheel Control Switch Assembly Screw (Qty: 6)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tip:Β  DO NOT over tighten the steering wheel control switch screws or damage to the switch(s) or steering wheel covers may occur.

Tighten:Β  2 N.m (18 lb in)

2 Steering Wheel Control Switch Assembly (Qty: 2)

  • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  • Make sure the steering wheel control switch(s) are properly seated to the steering wheel shroud during installation.
