  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.

  4. Remove the spark plug wire clip from the MAP sensor bracket, if necessary.

  6. Remove the upper intake manifold bolt.
  7. Remove the MAP sensor bracket (5).
  8. Remove the MAP sensor (6) and seal from the upper intake manifold. Discard the seal.
