- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
- Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
- Remove the spark plug wire clip from the MAP sensor bracket, if necessary.
- Remove the upper intake manifold bolt.
- Remove the MAP sensor bracket (5).
- Remove the MAP sensor (6) and seal from the upper intake manifold. Discard the seal.
